Find the electronic cigarette that works for you

In all the time I have vaped, on electronic cigarettes, it has always been a constant search for what works best for me.  The key I found is to keep looking, as money allows, and move up to one that completely satisfies you.   Electronic cigarette information is out on the web everywhere.  All you have to do is be willing, and have the time to do your own research.   I have spent time over the last couple years feeling great about my e-cig, and other times feeling like it is lacking in one way or another.   The key to enjoy vaping for yourself, is not what works best for me, but what works best for you.  Hopefully I can shed some light on my journey to help point you in the right direction so you too can find your perfect ecig vaping pleasure.

The first thing you will do is likely move up to, or start with some type of an ego kit.  These are great starting places, as they do produce decent vapor, and the batteries will last a long time.  If you get the stronger ones, you can have a battery that will last you all day.  That is step one.. getting past the charge every couple of hours stage. ( That drove me nuts)

Then I found that the vivi nova held a lot more e liquid than say a C-4 or C-6 clearomizer, and that was cool, because I could go out all day and not need to carry a bottle of juice with me to refill later on.  Your mileage may very… many people do not like the bulk or size of a vivi nova, and it took me a couple of days to get used to it.  I did find however that I enjoy more of an airy vape, meaning, I like more air flow than a lot of people and the vivi nova is a bit lacking in that department.  However, I haven’t found a better tank atomizer yet, so it is my go to guy for leaving the house.

When at home, I do put on my corsair dripping atomizer though, because I really enjoy the higher air flow it has.  Now, with micro coils, it is really doing an awesome job for me too.  I mean a lot of good vapor and flavor.  But for you, you may enjoy the smaller clearomizers that go with your ego batteries.  No problem there.  It is all about what works best for you.

If you are curious though, and want a lot more information, or have specific questions you want answered, and do not have a vapers store in your area, where do you go?  That is simple.  You have the whole world at your finger tips.  Just hop on the web and crawl over to a good forum and read away, and ask your questions.  Please make sure to use the search feature first though, or people may hop in and bad mouth you for not taking the time to look something up that has been asked ever and over.  It is not nice, but some people just are that way…

The best forum I have found to date is the main electronic cigarette forum at http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/     There you will find information on literally everything you could ever think to ask, and a whole lot more.   I have been to other ecig forums and have found many to have rude posters and not to my liking at all.  This one has so much more information than any of the others I have found also, so it works out well.  I actually read this forum for about a year before I wanted to make a post, so then I finally signed up.

The great thing about it, is I think this may be one of the first forums that was built for electronic cigarette users, and therefore it is one of, if not the largest one out there.  Tons and tons of great information just waiting to be had.  Go have a look and continue your journey of vaping, to find your most satisfying vape.

Keep vaping! and thank you for coming by.

Graham Cracker flavor, by flavor west, DIY Flavor Review

Today I am set off by something strange.  I am writing this review of graham cracker flavor, by flavor west, for DIY e-liquids.  I bought this graham cracker flavor to be used for a crust flavoring, added to things like cheesecake, or other flavors with cheesecake.  I am a bit more than surprised that it is pretty good all by itself too.  I am almost at a loss for words, but I will do what I can for you.

The batch is made up at 30/70 pg/vg .   I used 15% flavor in my 10 mil batch. I know most people make 5 or less mils of liquid when testing, but I plan to use this with other flavors so I needed a good sized test batch. However, since I give the flavor percentage used, you can make your batch how ever you like, with what ever PG/VG ratio that works for you.  Just use an e liquid calculator and let it do the math for you.

When you first take a puff of this graham cracker flavor, it goes in pretty smooth, yet it has a full robust flavor at 15%.   On the inhale and exhale, you taste the graham cracker flavor and nothing else.  Then after vaping on it for a few, I am noticing perhaps a touch of a coconut flavor lingering around?  I am still trying to place my finger on it, but that is what it seems.  Almost like one of those girl scout cookies… um,, snickerdoodle I think it is. Maybe I am wrong about the name, but it has a coconut like flavor to it.

Anyways, alone, this is a nice vape.  I am quite surprised by that, as I did not buy it for a stand alone flavor.  The more I vape it, I am not sure if it is just the after taste or not, that is making me feel like I am tasting coconut, but It is really coming off as a nice flavorful vape. It has a lot of vapor, and an extremely mild throat hit even at 18 mg nicotine.  Usually I go a lot lower, but I changed a lot of things up for this batch of flavors, and the nic level was one of them.

If you like graham crackers, and coconut, this is a nice one for you.  It plays very well with flavors of things that typically use a graham cracker crust on them like the blueberry cheesecake flavor I made up.  You will have to play with the flavor ratios yourself, but my first try, I went 5 drops blueberry, 5 drops cheese cake, and 3 drops graham cracker, and it was pretty decent.  Not perfect, but decent for sure.  It was a good starting point anyways.

So, my over all review of this graham cracker flavor, by flavor west, is good.  It is a keeper, and one you should definitely give a try.

Keep vaping and I will see you again soon,

Blueberry cheesecake, all Flavor west flavors

Hi,

I will be reviewing each flavor on it’s own, but I started to test the blue berry, and with me going with a 30/70 vg/pg blend, it did not carry the flavor well with just one day to steep.  So, I had to bump the flavor of the blueberry up to 20% from 15%, and thinned it to 40/60 with adding more PG to hopefully bring out more flavor sooner.  Worked okay, but still needs to steep for some time.  I will retest next week and see how things go with it on it’s own.

However…

My wife walked in, and saw that I mixed up the following flavors yesterday;

  • Blue Berry
  • Cheese Cake
  • Graham Cracker
  • Banana
  • Chocolate
  • Cherry Balsom ( I think this is supposed to be blossom, but they didn’t write it that way on the bottle)

So, with those flavors on her mind, and the blue berry in the atty already, she was like,,,  make up some blueberry cheesecake.  So, I put some cheese cake on the wick, along with a touch of the graham cracker for the crust, and added more of the blueberry, after I remixed it with 5 percent more flavor and 10 percent more pg.

blueberry-cheesecake-2

At first I thought, there is no way this will work just winging it like this.  Then I took a nice long puff, and WOW, was I wrong.  It was a dead ringer.   Just a lucky shot in the dark for sure.  I will play hell trying to make up this recipe so I can duplicate it in large batches.  You just watch and see…

Another mix I added into the atty was banana, blueberry and cheese cake. No crust.  It was pretty decent.  I think the crust (graham cracker) leaves an after taste in my mouth, but I am not sure about that, since I have not tested it on it’s own yet.   The banana really stands out, and it is also made at 30 pg and 70 vg.   I was just trying that blend to see if I get more vapor.  I think I need to add a bit more distilled water to thin it more, as it is very thick this way with only 2% water added in.  But very tasty.  Again, I can’t wait to review it on it’s own.

Next test is the banana and chocolate.  Please note, I haven’t tried the chocolate by itself, so this could fail…  I like chocolate covered bananas, and love chocolate/banana malts, so I have my fingers crossed that this is a good chocolate.  Here goes.  About 50/50 on the flavors combined, again, right on the atty.  Oh man,,  the chocolate and banana mixed is pretty nice.  Still has a touch of the blueberry in it though, so I need to change out the wick and get these separate reviews under way.

I just couldn’t wait to mention the blueberry cheesecake made up in the atty.  It was such a lucky fluke that she walked in when she did and said to give it a try.  I wouldn’t have tried that before testing each flavor on it’s own, first.   Now to find the correct recipe so I can put it in it’s review for you.

Stay tuned and vape something good while your waiting. I am just trying to finish vaping this wick dry before I change the wick out. I can’t wait to test the chocolate banana mix on its own without blueberry cheesecake trying to work it’s way into the blend.

Vivi-nova tank review

If you are like most people, when you first started vaping, you would start off with maybe some of those cheap gas station e-cigs, then later moved to something that has a bigger battery so you could vape longer without having to recharge it.   Once you move to a ego type or some other battery mod, you will probably find yourself wanting more eliquid in your electronic cigarette, so you do not have to top it off every few hours, or so.

That is when you may want to start looking at the larger tank systems.  Now is the time you should check out the vivi-nova tank.  If you do not like how large it is, there is also a vivi-nova mini.  However, you will love the vivi nova if you give it a chance.  I did, and love it.  It holds about a days worth of smoke juice, and you can vape all day and not need to refill it.  That is great.

The vivi-nova is also very easy to fill compared to a lot of the other tanks out there.  It hardly ever leaks, and when it does, it is likely because the atomizer untwisted a bit when you took the lid off to fill it.  Simply open it back up, tighten the atomizer and your set.  I have only had that happen once or twice in the last 6 months. So it does not happen often.  And this is about the only tank that I have ever used that does not flood and gurgle.

The do have a plastic tube for the main tank body, so using pure VG e-liquids, or spicy things like cinnamon are not recommended, because they will fog the tank and melt it over time.    You don’t want that…  but a 50/50 blend or even a 40 pg/60 vg, should be okay to use.

You can get them with just the clear plastic tube, or you can get a metal cover that goes over it, in many different colors.  I have blue, and purple, but found that I prefer using it without it so I can see my juice level.  Go figure…  I spent an extra buck or two for that cover and they just sit on my desk.  Your mileage may very with that though.  I do see a lot of other people that do use the colored covers.  If they had the gold in stock, I would have likely got that.  There are a lot of colors to choose from.

As for the atomizer, it is super easy to change out.  You get the 2.4 ohm one installed when you open the box, and have a 2.8 and a 1.8 ohm to use also.  When it begins to clog, if you use darker liquids, or if it begins to have some leakage, it is likely time to change the atomizer out.  I get a week or two out of mine easily.  Many times I get 3 or 4 weeks.   It really depends on how hot you vape (voltage) and if you use a thicker dark juice.  The darker ones seem to leave a residue that builds up on the coil, and eventually blocks the air flow, and does not vape as well.

To change the coil, you just vape all the e liquid out, or suck it out with a syringe, then unscrew the the tank body, then unscrew the top of the atomizer from the post in the middle.  Put a new one on, and tighten it good, then put your body back on, then fill with your favorite smoke juice, and put the top back on, and your back to vaping in just minutes.   I usually buy 3 to 6 coils at a time.  Some places give discounts for orders of 10 or more, but I have not done that yet – just saying, there are deals out there that help with costs, if you look for them.

A definite must have for your arsenal though.  You will be glad you invested the $13 to 15 bucks. It is well worth it.  It is a lot more economical than spending 3 bucks or so per clearomizer when they only last a few days to a week at most.  The replacement coils for the vivi nova tank is less than $2 each.

Almost all vaping stores carry them so they are pretty easy to find too.

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your vaping!

Red USA Mix e-liquid by Dekang, flavor review

Ok, so I do not buy too many pre-mixed flavors, and even less of them from manufacturers from China.  I just can’t feel they are as safe as ones made in the USA. Maybe it is just me, but that is how I feel.  However, after reading reviews when I was picking up some flavoring to mix myself, I saw this, and figured hey, it sounds like the one I am searching for…  it isn’t,, but oh well.  Since I got it, I will do a full review on it, like I do with my DIY flavor mixes, because some of you may want to know what this tastes like.

I ordered this at 12% nicotine, so it would have a decent throat hit, and it is about the middle of the road blend for their flavor.  I am testing in my corsair atty at 2 ohms, and set the volts on my ego twist to 4 volts to start.   When I open the bottle, I notice a dark, but slight tobacco flavor.  I say dark, because it seems rich, but is pretty light in the over all scheme of things.  There is a spicy smell that comes out with it, that about washes it away.  I hope it tastes better than it smells, but at least it was on sale.  LOL

The first thing I notice, is that it has decent vapor production, and it definitely tastes better than it smells.  It does had a decent tobacco flavor to it, but I am noticing an aftertaste that is sitting kinda funny with me. It is lingering for now.  Tastes like tin.   I think I will go eat lunch and come back to this, in case it is a left over mix in my mouth from the last flavor I was testing.

Ok, back from having a couple of tacos for lunch.  I am glad I stopped and took a break, so I could have a clean pallet and try this again.  It is a pretty decent flavor.  Not an all time favorite for me, but pretty good.  It has a slight, and I mean real slight grassy taste that lingers after you have vaped it for a while.  The flavor on the inhale is a nice tobacco flavor, with perhaps a small touch of some type of chocolate in it.  I am not real sure on that, but it is not a sweet flavor like carmel, it is more like a coco.   But the tobacco is the main flavor, and it may be a nice one for you to try out.

I will likely vape the rest of the bottle, but I will not buy more, as I am really not interested in e liquids from China, and that is the biggest downside of this flavor.  It is a nice vape, with good vapor production and no bad after tastes.  It is pretty cheap too, but I just can’t get past that made in China idea.   I don’t chew on my kids toys either…

I have seen a number of good reviews for this company though, so I thought it would be okay to get a bottle and give it a try.  But I have no intention of sampling a ton of their flavors.  Maybe one here and one there.

So, over all, the Dekang Red USA Mix flavor is not bad at all.  Not one I would make my all day vape, but I can see vaping the rest of this 30 mil bottle over the next month or two.   If you are looking for a decent pre-made liquid on the cheap, this might be for you though.   I am still vaping it though, after a half hour, and it kinda grows on you.  Not bad at all – just has that whole China thing going on that will keep me from buying more of it.

It is still getting better, even as I am finishing this review off..  so if you don’t have that whole China e-juice phobia going on like I do,, it is definitely worth a try.  My wife gave it a try too, and she liked it as well.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you too can stop smoking and start vaping!

DIY Fruit Punch, by flavor west Review

Hi all,  I am just writing another flavor review of a home made or DIY flavor I made up on Feb 9th.

The flavor is Fruit Punch by flavor west. Unless I state otherwise, in a review, I make my e-liquid as a 50/50 mix of PG and VG, but have been testing things out with more VG to see how it goes on some flavors.  This one is another 50/50 pg/vg blend.

When I first made this batch up, I made 10 milliliters, so I would have plenty if it turned out good.  However, I heat steeped it twice by putting it in a pan of just boiled water, until it cooled to room temp, then boiled the water and did it again, after shaking up the blend again.

Then, the next day – about 24 hours later, I gave it a try.  Oh man…  it about gagged me.  It could have gagged a maggot, as I say.

Well, I know that many flavors are no good right off the mixing table, so I put it aside, and had not touched it since.  I found it as I was making some other flavors today, and got brave enough to give it another go, after opening the bottle, and seeing that the smell was quite nice now.  Before it was so strong smelling, it would make your nose hairs burn.

So, I vaped the rest of my island flavor out of my dripping atty, so I could try it without having to wash out a clearomizer.  I didn’t have very high hopes for it.  I put in enough to check it out…  and oh my,, what a sweet surprise it was to vape this fruit punch mix I made up.

The first thing I noticed was a nice mild sweetness, then that tropical punch flavor kicked in the background.  Talk about a nice smooth vape that you could use in the morning, noon or night.  This turned out pretty darn good after waiting for about 4 weeks.  After the flavor was coming through good, I noticed a super soft throat hit.  The throat hit is very mild, but I only have it at 8% nicotine.  After several vapes, I can feel a slight tingle on my tongue, rather than in my throat.

Another huge plus for it, is the vapor production.  I have vaped a few that I thought were a 10 on a ten point scale, but this one knocked it out of the park with about a 14 on a 10 point scale.  I mean literally vapor so thick it blocks out what is in front of me.  I have never had vapor production this vivid before with any other flavor at all.   All I can say is WOW.  If you enjoy HUGE VAPOR, then you will absolutely love this if you like fruit punch to begin with.

One down side, which others may enjoy, is that I notice a creamy or waxy feeling in my mouth after vaping it for a while.  I think that is due to the vapor being so thick that it is allowing more of the flavor and nicotine to sit on my tongue.  That is just a guess though.

If I were to start selling flavors, this one would need to be made up a month before it was ready to sell, but oh is it so worth the wait.   I am now real glad I made a 10 mil test batch instead of just a 3 to 5 mil test.  Now I have plenty to vape over the next few days.

My electronic cigarette loves this stuff.  I am vaping this at 3.6 volts on my ego twist, in a 1.5 ohm atty.

If you are looking for a good DIY, then this is a great choice.

DIY e liquid review – Banana nut bread by Flavor west

Well, now I am starting to have some fun with my DIY e liquid making.  Since I have been vaping a while now, and have to drive around 75 miles round trip to get my favorite  smoke juice, I decided to give a go at making my own.  It is just too costly to drive that far to pick up some e liquids every couple of weeks. It tacks on an easy $20 for the gas.  So, I ordered the supplies, and started making some flavors of my own.  This is a review of the banana nut bread DIY flavoring from Flavor West.
The first thing I found out, is that there is no carved in stone way to make your eliquids.  There are several flavor vendors, and none of them have a set amount of flavor you ad, to make your juice.  It is mostly trial and error, and a lot of reading on the net to try finding what worked for others.  So, for my first batch, since my wife likes it so much, I made up some banana nut bread e liquid.   The best info I could find on the web said to use about 20% of the flavoring, with the mix, so I added my flavor,  nic, and set the e liquid calculator to a 50/50 mix of pg-vg, with 16mg of nicotine, with 15% of flavoring, just to be safe.
Believe it or not,,, it turned out pretty darn good.   I made a second batch at the 20% flavoring, and it was a bit too strong, so I lucked out the first time.  Nice.   The e liquid needs to sit for several hours, to several weeks, to steep in the flavor,  but we only waited an hour or so for the first try of it.  Then once it sat for a week, it was great.   My wife loves it, and that was important, because I made that batch for her.  Once this flavor sites for 7 or 8 days at room temperature, it becomes more bold, and flavorful.  Keep that in mind if you start making stronger batches.
With the 50/50 blend of pg and vg, it has a real good vapor, plenty of throat hit, and a real smooth flavor that you could vape all day.   If you like banana nut bread, then you should really give this flavor a try.  If you do not want to do it yourself, then there are tons of sites that sell ready to vape e liquids and many of them carry this flavor.
Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Vaping!

Johnson Creek Island Flavor smoke juice

Johnson Creeks Island flavor.

Ok, today I am writing a quick review on the Island flavor from Johnson Creek Smoke Juice.  This is one that I was not sure about at all.  I mean there was not much of a flavor description on their website, but I thought what the heck, and ordered a sample, along with 9 other samples.

All I can say is WOW..  so far, this is my favorite flavor.  There is no tobacco flavor in it that I can tell.  They say there is a little in it.. All I know for sure, it is a real good.   It has a nice pineapple and coconut with some rum hints, and then some caramel laced tobacco flavor too.  Now I can taste the caramel for sure.   It starts out with a pineapple and coconut flavor as you take it in, then slowly you notice the other flavors coming to you as well.  It is one that I find to be real good.  My wife didn’t even think I would like it.  Glad I didn’t listen to her before I tried it.

This is the first all VG flavor I have tried.  It is definitely not going to be the last, because of how smooth this flavor is.  As I begin to make my own flavors, I will try some VG blends of each to see how they fair, compared to their pg/vg counterparts.  And that is all thanks to how flavorful this Island flavor is.  I didn’t think a VG only e-liquid could carry the flavor this well, but I am very pleasantly surprised.

As far as throat hit goes.. it is very smooth and mild.  I turn up my ego twist to 4 or 4.2 volts to get a decent hit. It seems to make a bit of a flavor enhancement as well.  Like their site says, if you like pina coladas, you will love this…  Well, I never had a pina colada, and I love it anyways.  It is definitely one of my favorite flavors to date.

If your not sure about it, give it a try with a sample like I did.  It is only 5 mils,  and if you get 5 samples, it even costs less than the $3.95 single price, and you get a round tin that they come in.   Oh, also, they come in a glass bottle, with a chile proof lid, and a separate dropper top that is also child proof.   It looks like Johnson creek takes the extra step as far as packaging and product care goes.

Give them a try if your looking for some quality flavors. I will review the other 9 flavors I received as well.

What is an Electronic Cigarette?

February 20, 2013 by

A few years back, I heard of electric cigarettes, and had no idea what they were, or where to find one.  I heard that you smoke them, but there was no smoke… It had me confused, and curious at the same time. When I first heard about the electronic cigarette, my first reaction was that this is most likely a novelty item that wasn’t to be taken seriously.

Just this last year though, I finally found what it was all about.  There were no stores selling them until recently, so there was just no information out there to be had. From what I have seen though, I am glad I didn’t find them back then.  They were shotty, and at best a poor excuse for what they were supposed to be.   They have had a few years to develop a much better product before I found them, and for that, I am glad.

Since that time, several years ago,,,  I continued smoking regular cigarettes, even though I tried to quit, I don’t know how many times, over the last 15 years.  Then, I developed a heart problem, and had to have a quadruple bypass.  The doc said I had to quit, or I would be back in a couple of years.  I didn’t want no part of doing that all again.  It is the most pain you could ever imagine…

After I healed up for 3 months or so,  I started smoking again.  Bad idea…  I didn’t want to, I just did.  I started looking for alternatives again, and finally found a egig shop in a flea market that we go to. This is where I learned about them, and got started into vaping.

Here is the scoop on them, for those of you that don’t know yet.

The e-cig is a battery powered device that is supposed to look and feel like a real cigarette.  However, the first thing we noticed it that even the small ones are much heavier than a real cigarette.  It takes time getting used to that.  The first ones we tried did look like a real cigarette, but the batteries only lasted a couple of hours, and we always had to have spares on the charger.  We upgraded…

The main type that is used by people once they get past the point of using the disposable types, or the lower cost ones that look like them, is the EGo battery and a clearamizer, or a tank which holds enough liquid to vape for hours, and the battery lasts most of the day.

This comes in two or 3 parts, depending on which type you get.  The basic parts are:

1. Battery
2. Atomizer
3. Cartridge or tank, or clearamizer.  NOTE: This part is your choice, and you find find yourself changing between one type and another to find the one that you really like.  There are a lot of different types from the basic disposables, to the reusable, and then the more advanced rebuildable ones. .

I will  go over what each component does:

1. Atomizer. This heats up and vaporizes a mixture of e-liquid, with or without nicotine. The sensation of inhaling this vapor is very similar to real cigarette smoke but without the same health risks.  It even has a warm feel to it which adds to a realistic experience. The vapor produces a cloud that looks like smoke but is actually just a vapor mist that quickly disappears. Not to mention, that the mist smells good, if it has any smell at all, and not at all like a regular cigarette stink.

2. Battery. A rechargeable battery that powers the atomizer.  You can get different sizes of these batteries, so you can get one that will last you all day, with one battery.   It is shaped to look like the body of a real cigarette, except they are about the size of a small cigar. The lifespan of batteries varies from model to model, but most of them say you will get 300 to 400 recharges with them.   I use an Ego twist, that allows me to twist the bottom and change the voltage wich lets me tweak the way the flavor tastes.  It lasts all day, from about 7 am until about 11 pm. most of the time.

3. Cartridge.   The cartridges are made out of plastic and have a section that holds e-liquid.  They look similar to a real cigarette butt.  The clearomizer is typicly about 2.5 to 3 inches long, and had a glass or plastic cover so you can see how much liquid is in it, and holds a lot more than a cartridge. A tank came out as holding more liquid than a cartridge, but had no polly fill, and was just like a mouthpiece that had the liquid in it.  Now there are other tanks that are bigger than a clearomizer and are called cartomizers.

4. E-Liquid.    The E-liquid, or smoke juice, is what you put in the above items to produce the vapor you want.  You pick the flavor and nicotine level you want. E liquid has very few ingredients… made up of a water, vegetable glycerin, propoline glycol, and flavoring, and nicotine if you choose.    Different nicotine strengths are available in high (24 milligrams), low(less than 8 milligrams), or medium about 12 milligrams).  These numbers vary from the different manufacturers.  Most manufacturers also offer a variety of flavors ranging from traditional tobacco flavor, menthol, vanilla, chocolate and fruit flavors, drink flavors, deserts, like blueberry cheesecake, and tons of other flavors…  many of them are quite tasty.  And no doubt a lot better tasting than a real cigarette ever was.

The electronic cigarette seems surprisingly similar to a regular tobacco cigarette, but without most of the same health risks. There is no lingering offensive odor. No second hand smoke to float around and get all over everything.  Vaping is also a lot less costly than tobacco cigarettes. This combined with the fact that you can use it almost anywhere makes vaping,  a sensible, healthier alternative, one that is definitely worth considering.   Remember though, that if you have nicotine in your system, your blood pressure and flow is still affected.  The best part is, you can decrease that amount over time, like I have been doing.

One of the best things about it that I have found, is that when you vape, you do not smell like a dirty ashtray.  You don’t get that stink, that people can smell 5 feet away.  I know I didn’t realize how much you could smell it, until I started vaping, and realized I could tell when someone at the checkout line in the store had a smoke before they came shopping…  Not to mention, I can vape in my house and don’t have to worry about that brown nicotine stain all over the walls and cloths.

As far as me vaping with nicotine with my heart issues –  I can feel it if I have too much nicotine, and over time, I have been able to realize some great physical health benefits that have come back over the many months I have been away from real cigarettes.  My blood pressure is better.  I feel like I have more energy a lot more than I did before.  I can taste and smell better.  And most of all, I know I will get myself off of nicotine entirely before too much longer.  I couldn’t do that with any other things I used to try to get away from cigarettes.

Note, your mileage will vary.  Everyone is different. It may work for you, and it may not.  It is working for me, but didn’t work for my wife. She gave up after a couple of months. Hopefully, she will find the electronic cigarette that gives her the satisfaction she is looking for, and will give it another try soon.

The Blu electronic cigarette is quickly becoming a favorite among some new “vaping” enthusiasts.  It has some distinct design differences that give the user the most realistic and satisfying smoking experience, and without the hassles typically associated with traditional cigarettes.  You are now seeing television commercials with them, as a great alternative to tobacco cigarettes.

Most companies are selling electronic cigarettes in a 3-piece design:

1. Battery
2. Atomizer
3. Nicotine cartridge

The Blu E-cig design consists of only 2 pieces:

1. Battery
2. Atomizer & cartridge combined, called a cartomizer.

Why does this make such a big difference?

With many of the 3-piece design electronic cigarettes, the atomizer gets used over and over.  This can lead to a dirty, clogged atomizer that becomes much less efficient over time.  A clean atomizer is essential for getting maximum vapor volume, and flavor satisfaction.  The more quality vapor you get with each draw is very important for a satisfying and realistic “vaping” experience.  The reusable atomizer found in 3-piece designs need to be replaced or cleaned frequently.  This will cost you in time or money – a hidden cost not mentioned in most the sales materials. They are pretty easy to clean, but you will need some spares for when they are being cleaned.

The 2-piece design as found in the Blu e-cig, and other cartomizer models, eliminates the problems associated with the reusable atomizer. Because the atomizer is built into the nicotine cartridge, you get a fresh atomizer every time you change cartridges (one cartridge is about the equivalent of 20-30 tobacco cigarettes). This is why a lot of people choose the Blu e-cig. Great vapor, and full flavor.

It’s very common for many people to initially try a 3-piece design only to be disappointed.  They are not taught how to actually use and take care of their e-cig device when they buy it.  These are the same people that go on to say electronic smoking doesn’t work well. It’s worth it to spend a few extra dollars and get a 2 piece, or 3 piece design that you will actually be happy with.  Buy a sampler kit if you are new, and find the one that is right for you.

Not all e-cigarettes are created equal. It’s important to educate yourself on the differences so you don’t end up going through a lot of unnecessary (and expensive) trial and error.  The electronic cigarette is being redesigned constantly by the manufacturers to come up with better and better models. Blu electronic cigarettes offers a technologically advanced device that will give you the most realistic and satisfying smoking experience in the industry. The highest smoke volume, convenience of use, reliability, cleanliness and an extended battery life all add up to make Blu a wise electronic cigarette choice.  They have no smell, no ash, and no tobacco smoke, but do have what you enjoy about sm0king a cigarette.  They are a little on the pricy side for what you get, but with that, you get the simplicity of just buying them and vaping.  No refilling or cleaning to worry about.

Another thing that makes Blu a great electronic cigarette to choose, is that the e-cig, and e-liquid are all made in the USA.  That is a rare thing to find at this price level, or any other. Most are made in China, and well, I don’t know about you, but I would prefer my smoke juice to be made in the USA.  It just makes me feel safer, knowing that everything in it, is following a high standard for my safety.

Your best bet, is to find an e-cig retailer in your area, and go in for a personal visit.  They will be able to help you find the correct model for you.  It is great to have that hands on information, and ability to sample different types before making the purchase.  If there is not one in your area, you may consider looking at them from my site. I have links to blu, and other products, in my store pages for you.

If you are serious about vaping, you will want a more robust personal vaporizer, or electronic cigarette.  But these blu e-cig models are great to get you started, and see if you enjoy it before spending too much money.  It is the way most of us start into vaping, and then later move on to larger batteries, like the ego, or ego-twist, and on into mods for a much larger variable voltage vaping use.  I will explain those in another post.
